Abstract

Objective: To carry out a thorough study about food security status as well as household dietary diversity for the female population of rural areas of Muzaffargarh,
Punjab Design: Cross-sectional survey was carried out. Data were collected using structured questionnaires translated into the local language. Household dietary diversity scores measured the types of foods households consumed, and the households were classified by food security status using a modified version of the Household Food Insecurity Access Scale Study settings: Rural and Semi-urban areas of district Muzaffargarh Punjab, Pakistan
Population: The study includes women of the rural population, more precisely the women of childbearing age in district Muzaffargarh, Punjab, Pakistan
