Abstract
Acute malnutrition continues to pose a monu-mental public health challenge, especially in resource-poor settings where access to sufficient and balanced nutrition remains a struggle [1]. The advent of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) and Ready-to-Use Supplementary Food (RUSF) has turned the tide against acute malnutrition, particu-larly among vulnerable cohorts, such as children and women [2].
